Friendlier than ever
The new, environmentally friendly 77TDI is a diesel engine we feel even better about making because it gives you not only low fuel consumption (5.0L/100km* combined fuel consumption, 7-speed DSG) but low CO2 emissions (130g/km, 7-speed DSG) as well. The TDI engine with a diesel particulate filter features common rail technology – injecting precise amounts of fuel at exceedingly high pressure. The result is a cleaner burning engine.

Standard extras
The 77TDI’s standard features are anything but standard. Sleek 16” Toronto alloy wheels beef up the exterior. To make your drive more comfortable, we included cruise control, and a Multi-Function Display (MFD Plus). And we’ve equipped it with features including Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Brake Assist, Electronic Stabilisation Program (ESP) and six front, side and curtain airbags as standard.

Extra options
For those few who want to pamper their 77TDI, we’ve developed a comfort package that offers dual-zone automatic climate control air conditioning, functions like the automatic headlights or rain sensing windscreen wipers that adapt to the environment before you even need to think, and a “coming / leaving home” headlight function that provides better visibility and safety on your arrival.

Engine of the Year 2009
The surprisingly powerful 1.4 litre TSI Twincharger engine combines the supercharger at low revs and switches over to the turbocharger for higher revs to deliver excellent torque while maintaining lower fuel consumption.118kW of power at 5,800rpm and 240Nm of torque at 1,500-4,500rpm to be exact. It’s so efficient; it even won the International Engine of the Year award for 2009 and Best Green Engine 2009. Proving that driving fun and low-emission fuel efficiency, can be in one.

Luxury as standard
There are certain features we think you should have. Like the dual-zone automatic climate control air conditioning, so you’ll never have an argument about the temperature again. And rain-sensing windscreen wipers that think about the weather for you. Or stylish 16” Sedona alloy wheels.

Enjoy the finer points
Take a seat in the Jetta and you’ll notice the beauty in its details. Beneath you, you can feel the comfort seat upholstery with adjustable height and lumbar. Once comfortable, you’ll notice that in your hands is a supple multi-function leather steering wheel. Along the way, you’ll feel our German-engineered build quality and smooth suspension. On arriving home, the “coming / leaving home” headlight function will light your path to the front door.

Add your own special touch
We’ve even thought of some finishing touches you might like to add to complete your Jetta. For example, an electric, slide and tilt adjustable glass sunroof with sunblind. Or Bi-Xenon headlights with their own automatic cleaning system. Or maybe you’re after the sports package, which includes tinted rear-side and rear windows for privacy, 17” Avignon alloy wheels and sports suspension.

We’ve spent years pioneering diesel technology. The Jetta 103TDI offers an impressive 320Nm of torque and 103kW of power from its 2.0 litre turbo charged diesel engine. This cutting-edge engine features common rail technology and a diesel particulate filter for a cleaner burning engine with exceptional fuel economy.

We’ve thought of putting it all at your fingertips
We think you’ll agree that it’s easy to feel comfortable when you’re in total control. The 103TDI comes with the very handy RCD310 CD sound system. You can control everything through the Multi-Function steering wheel, which also offers a height and reach adjustable steering column.

Beautiful design, inside and out
Why not get the best of both worlds? We think the Jetta should feel as good as it looks. We’ve even thought about sporty enhancements like the 16” Sedona alloy wheels, ‘Black Pyramid’ inserts in the dashboard and doors and cloth comfort front seats.

Even more options
We think that increasing your safety and vision is a good idea with optional front fog lights, or Bi-Xenon headlights with automatic self levelling and a headlight cleaning system. We think enhancing the rest of the vehicle with a sports package upgrade isn’t bad either, including 17” Avignon alloy wheels, dark tinted rear and side windows for added privacy, sports suspension with 15mm lowered ride height and front fog lights mounted in the lower bumper. Certainly a few things to think about.

Diesel technology taken to the next level
Who said a diesel can’t be powerful, quiet, economical and clean? The Jetta 125TDI Highline’s 2.0 litre common rail turbo diesel engine churns out a massive 125kw of power and 350Nm of torque. By coupling it with a six-speed DSG transmission, it does so smoothly and efficiently. Not to mention cleanly, thanks to a diesel particulate filter.

Where Diesel and luxury come together
We think that caring about the environment doesn’t mean you have to rough it. Reward yourself and relax in the comfortable front sports seats, complete with black alcantara/cloth combination trim. Then select what song you’ll drive off too using the touch screen display in the RCD510 6 disc sound system.

Think different. Look different
Why not pick a Jetta that’s a bit different from the rest? The seamless body of the 125TDI includes body coloured bumper bars with front and rear bumper trim, door handles and exterior mirrors. Then we decided to highlight some feature points, like with the 17” Porto alloy wheels. Or the chrome detailing across the grille, windows and door. See how it makes a difference?

More creature comforts
Add a few luxuries of your own to really complete your Jetta. Enjoy some tunes with the Media Device Interface (MDI), compatible with iPod, USB and mini USB devices. Recline in the Vienna leather upholstery, with individually heated front sport seats and electrically adjustable driver’s seat. Or, get your bearings with the touch screen on the RNS510 satellite navigation system.

Jetta Power
Motoring journalists the world over cannot praise the Volkswagen sports engine enough, the advanced TSI petrol engine is not only powerful, producing 147kW and 280Nm of torque, but also saves on petrol. The Jetta 147TSI Highline is equipped with a 6-speed Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) as standard, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.2 seconds.

Jetta entertainment
We wanted the Jetta 147TSI Highline to be as fun for the passengers as it was for the driver. Introducing the RCD510 in-car entertainment system. While you’re focusing on your favourite stretch of road, your passengers can keep themselves busy with the high-resolution large colour TFT display with a 61/2” touch screen or the six-disc CD changer with MP3 functions. Or they might want to plug their mobile audio player into the AUX-IN interface.

Sports feeling
You might think the front sport seats with the black alcantara/cloth combination look elegant. But when the 15mm lowered sports suspension is hugging the corner, they’re designed to hug you. And to complement the power of the engine, we’ve decked it out with complete sports styling, including 17” Porto alloy wheels, front fog lights and dual chrome exhausts.

Sports styling
We’ve added plenty of options to make the Jetta look a little more athletic. Select the sports package for 18” Charleston alloy wheels, and dark tinted rear side and rear windows increase privacy and comfort, not to mention mystique. Or combine it with a metallic or pearl effect paint and Vienna leather upholstery for good looks inside and out. Finally, make its bark just as bad as its bite by adding an anti-theft alarm system with interior monitoring and tilt sensor.
